Spotted: Two Gambit Releases This Week 5/14

Gambit is appearing in two comics in two comics out the week of 5/14.

First up is his regular appearance in the Uncanny X-Men ongoing. Issue 14 is out on Wednesday. Is he back from the Savage Land? Did he find his britches?

Synopsis: The Uncanny X-Men thought that Haven House was a safe place, a place to call home. But is it more than that? What is the history of the hidden landscape UNDER the Louisiana swampland, and what does it want with the young OUTLIERS? Long-held secrets revealed, and a part of X-history never before shown threatens to break both teams apart!

Second is the first issue of the new Godzilla VS X-Men. This limited run is starting on Wednesday. 

Synopsis: When a robotics firm draws a kaiju’s anger, the X-Men are called in to protect a world that hates and fears them from the counterattack of…GODZILLA! But what are the reasons for Godzilla’s attacks? And are the X-Men on the right side? Follow the X-Men as they take on THE KING OF MONSTERS before humanity sends forth the Sentinels to finish the job!

Synopsis from Marvel: This September, Marvel Comics marks the 30th anniversary of AGE OF APOCALYPSE (1995), a groundbreaking X-Men storyline, with X-MEN OF APOCALYPSE (2025), an all-new six-part event series by legendary writer Jeph Loeb, one of the creators behind the original AGE OF APOCALYPSE, and, in his first series since returning to Marvel earlier this year, Eisner nominated artist Simone Di Meo.

It's unknown what role (if any) Gambit will play in this, but he's featured on the cover of Giant-Size House Of M #1,  A cover by Adam Kubert.
